Since its establishment in 1991, the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bucharest (FSPUB) has promoted an open perspective on society through innovative curricula in English, French and Romanian, as well as through integration with the academic and professional communities, at both national and international level. Currently, the FSPUB is the most internationally-connected Romanian higher education institution in political and social research and it has the most varied offer for preparing a dynamic career with top employers. The FSPUB has several degree programs taught and examined in foreign languages (English or French) at both undergraduate and graduate level, and can integrate within the doctoral program foreign students that do not speak Romanian. All professors speak at least one foreign language, more than half of them speak at least two foreign languages and about a third know at least three foreign languages, with English, French, Italian, German and Spanish as the most popular. All its degree programs are fully integrated with the Bologna and the ECTS systems, which makes the curricula compatible with other top European and international programs and allows for double-degree/joint programs. Most FSPUB professors studied abroad or have lectured at top universities across the world, and cca.10% of all students benefit from international exchange mobility programs in some of the best European universities. Each year the faculty hosts dozens of guest foreign scholars and professional experts for lectures, seminaries and training, as well as the largest body of foreign students of social sciences in Romania. Furthermore, all students are integrated in internship programs, which, at undergraduate level, last one year. The FSPUB also collaborates or is partner in projects with numerous higher education institutions, research institutes, think tanks, cultural centres, embassies, ministries, governmental agencies, representations of international organizations and nongovernmental organizations from Romania and abroad.
